Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and the individual entrepreneur Galymzhan Musagaliev (Мусагалиев Галымжан), Republic of Kazakhstan ("we"), for using the Remeik app and the remeik.click website (the "service"). By installing the app or using the service you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. What the service does

Remeik is an AI producer in a chat: from your photos, voice notes and answers it pitches an idea, shows a storyboard and creates short videos; in "Recreate a trend" mode it breaks down a reel you send or pick from the catalogue and creates a video in the same format with your materials. Videos and images are generated by artificial intelligence models; results may differ from expectations and contain inaccuracies.

2. Account and age

On first launch an anonymous account linked to the app installation on your device is created; no sign-up is needed. The account survives reinstalling the app on the same device but may be lost if you change or reset the device. If Sign in with Apple or another recovery method is added in the future, we will describe it here. If you lose access to your account, contact support and we will try to restore purchased credits from your App Store purchase records. You are responsible for activity in your account. You can delete it at any time: Profile → Delete account.

The service is intended for people aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, you may use the service and make purchases only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Credits and packs

• A credit is the in-app unit of payment for the service. 1 credit = 1 second of finished standard-quality video; recreating a trend costs 1.5 credits per second. Prices of other services are shown in the app.
• Packs: 30 credits — $9.99, 100 credits — $24.99, 300 credits — $64.99 (US prices; elsewhere the App Store sets the local price). Packs are one-off App Store purchases, not a subscription.
• Before each run the app shows how many credits will be charged. Credits are reserved during the shoot; if it fails for a technical reason on our side, the reservation is released.
• Purchased credits never expire. Bonus credits (for invitations and compensation) are valid for 90 days from when they are added and are used first.
• Credits are not money or e-money, cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred to other users. Unused credits are lost when the account is deleted.
• We may change service prices in credits and pack contents going forward; credits you already bought are kept.

4. Free first project and invitations

Your first project is free: the chat with the producer and a storyboard with your photos (one shot option per scene and one free redraw). The free project is offered once; we may refuse it if it is claimed again on the same device or through new accounts. Creating the video from the storyboard is paid with credits. We may limit the number of storyboards per day.

Every user has an invite code. If a friend enters your code within 48 hours of installing and makes a first purchase, you get 15 bonus credits and your friend gets 5. Up to 10 rewards per month. We may cancel rewards obtained by abuse (own accounts, fake referrals).

5. Refunds

All purchases go through the App Store, so refunds are handled by Apple under its rules: reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot refund money directly. If Apple approves a refund, the credits of the refunded pack are removed from your balance; if they were already spent, the balance may go negative and new runs are blocked until you top up. If a failure on our side ruins a video or credits are charged in error, we compensate them in credits — email support@remeik.click. The app is not distributed in European Union countries. These rules do not limit the rights granted to you by the mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence.

6. Your materials and rights to results

• You keep the rights to the materials you upload (photos, voice notes, texts, videos). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to process them — including sharing them with the processors listed in the privacy policy — solely to provide the service to you and for as long as that requires.
• You may use the finished videos, frames and voice-overs created at your request for any lawful purpose, including commercial use: publish them, edit them, use them in ads for your business. We claim no rights to them, and if any rights to the results arise for us, we transfer them to you free of charge to the extent the law allows. We don't use your videos to promote the service without your separate consent.
• Results are AI-generated. We do not guarantee that they are protected by copyright or other rights in your country, nor that they are unique: other users may obtain similar results.
• You are responsible for having the rights to the materials you upload and the consent of the people shown in them.
• "Recreate a trend" recreates a format — structure, pacing, camera moves — not the video itself: no frames or sound from the original end up in your video. Send for recreation only videos you have the right to use (your own, or ones whose author has allowed it), and make sure the result does not infringe the original author's rights (no copying of recognisable characters, texts, music or trademarks).
• Examples in the trend catalogue belong to their authors and are used under their licences (video credits).
• The app, server, design and templates of the service belong to us; you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them under these terms.

7. Photos of people and consent

Upload photos or voice of people only if you are that person or have their explicit consent to create and publish a video with their likeness or voice. Photos of minors require consent from a parent or legal guardian. By uploading a photo you confirm that such consent has been obtained and you are responsible for any claims by the people depicted. On our request you must confirm that you have consent.

8. What is prohibited

• uploading other people's content (photos, videos, music, brands) you don't have rights to;
• creating deepfakes — videos where a real person does or says something they didn't — without their consent, or impersonating another person or organisation;
• creating misleading content: fake news, fake reviews, fraud, political campaigning in the name of real people;
• creating sexual content, and any content sexualising minors (we report such cases to the authorities);
• creating content with violence, harassment, hate, calls to illegal action, or other unlawful content;
• circumventing service limits, automating requests, reverse-engineering the app or reselling access.

9. Moderation

Requests and materials are checked automatically, including with AI, before generation. We may refuse to generate, remove materials that break these terms, and restrict or block an account. Credits spent on violating content are not returned. To report a video made with your likeness without consent, email support@remeik.click: we will review the report and, if confirmed, remove the materials and block the violator.

10. Warranties and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We work to keep it stable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, a specific generation result, or growth in views or sales. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for credits in the last 12 months. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, for intentional misconduct) and do not restrict the non-waivable rights of consumers under the law of your country of residence. You are responsible for the materials you upload and for publishing results, and you indemnify us against third-party claims caused by your breach of these terms.

11. App Store terms

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. The licence to the app is limited and non-transferable, for use on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms. We provide support and maintenance for the app (support@remeik.click); Apple has no obligation to provide any support or maintenance for it. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. We, not Apple, handle any claims relating to the app (product liability, failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection, intellectual property); if a third party claims that the app infringes its intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms; upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce them against you.

12. Changes, termination, governing law

We may change the service and these terms; we will post changes on this page and, for material changes, notify you in the app in advance. By continuing to use the service after changes take effect, you accept the new revision. You can stop using the service at any time by deleting your account. We may end access if these terms are breached.

These terms and relations connected with the service are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We try to resolve disputes by negotiation: email support@remeik.click and we will reply within 30 days. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is heard by the court at the operator's location in the Republic of Kazakhstan. If you are a consumer, this choice of law and court does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence or of the right to bring a claim in the court those rules provide.
